Both devices in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a newer 13 version while Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G design is much newer, but notably thicker and heavier than the Galaxy S6 edge+.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a better hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of cores.
