Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S4's 79 overall score. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has a more recent 5.1 version and Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4, offering some extra features and performance enhancements. Galaxy S6 edge+'s design is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy S4's, although it's heavier.

Galaxy S4 features a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an additional graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a little higher number of pixels in each inch in the display, a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit larger display.

Galaxy S4 features a much better storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S4 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Galaxy S6 edge+ captures better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a better 16 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, a bigger camera aperture for better photography and videos in low-light environments, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger sensor shooting better quality photos and videos.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a little longer battery duration than Galaxy S4, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
