Comparison review
Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is slightly better than Galaxy S6 edge+'s score of 79.3. Both devices we are comparing here include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version while Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version. Galaxy S5 is an older and somewhat thicker phone than Galaxy S6 edge+, but Samsung was able to make it a bit lighter anyway.
Galaxy S5 has a more powerful processor than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with more cores and an extra GPU. Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a quite better quantity of pixels in each inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy S5 has a camera that's very similar to Galaxy S6 edge+'s camera, and although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a tinier camera aperture, they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 30 fps video frame rates, a same size back camera sensor and the same video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has slightly more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy S6 edge+ has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2800mAh.
In addition to being the best phone in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy S5 is also the cheapest one.
