The Samsung Galaxy S8 has an overall score of 81.7, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 global score. The Samsung Galaxy S8 body is newer than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s, although it is a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy S8, although it has a quite lower 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a quite smaller display and a little lower number of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy S8 counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S8 also has 7 more processing cores.
Galaxy S6 edge+ takes clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for low-light photos and videos and a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a back camera with lot more MP.
