Comparison review

The Xperia 5 II has a general score of 87.2, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 overall score. The Xperia 5 II design is incredibly newer than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s, but it's just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xperia 5 II features a better CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster).

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a more vivid screen than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a slightly higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. The Xperia 5 II counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity.

The Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much less megapixels back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited environments and a way larger sensor capturing way better quality videos and photographs.

Sony Xperia 5 II features longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 33 percent larger battery size.

Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
