The Xperia 5 III is much better than Galaxy S6 edge+, with a overall score of 90.5 against 79.3. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 5 III has a more recent 11 version and Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1. Xperia 5 III's body is much newer than Galaxy S6 edge+'s, but it's thicker and just a little heavier.
Xperia 5 III counts with a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much better screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel quantity per inch in the display and a slightly higher 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Sony Xperia 5 III features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. Xperia 5 III shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a worse (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with lot less MP resolution, it also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking much higher quality pictures and videos and a larger camera aperture.
