Comparison review
Galaxy S6 edge+ is a bit better than Xperia XA2 Plus, with a score of 79.3 against 78.6. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has the previous 5.1 version and Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy S6 edge+ is an incredibly older device than Xperia XA2 Plus, but it's thinner and lighter anyway.
Galaxy S6 edge+ features a more vivid display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and more pixels per screen inch. The Xperia XA2 Plus has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a greater amount of RAM and more cores. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a much more megapixels back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with greater battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
