Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, with an 82.2 score against 79.3. Even though the Xperia XZ2 Premium is incredibly newer than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, it's much heavier and way thicker. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 7 more CPU cores.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a sharper display than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a quite bigger display, a way better 2160 x 3840px resolution and a better amount of pixels per display inch. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger camera aperture, a larger sensor which provides a better photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with more megapixels.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, resigning a couple specs and features.
