Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 edge+ is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5, having a 79.3 score against 77.6. These devices come with the same Android 5.1 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect. Even though Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Sony Xperia Z5 were released only a couple of months apart, Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit thinner and a little lighter.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit better looking display than Xperia Z5, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a better 2560 x 1440px resolution and a little bit larger screen. Xperia Z5 counts with a greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 200 GB.

Xperia Z5 has a quite better processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU and a greater number of cores (but slower). The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a little better battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size instead of 2900mAh.

Sony Xperia Z5 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a larger camera aperture to take better photos in low-light situations, a larger sensor and a much better 23 megapixels resolution back camera.

Galaxy S6 edge+ costs a little more money than Xperia Z5, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
