Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, having an 83.3 score against 79.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 construction is a lot newer, but a bit thicker and heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1.
Xiaomi Mi 8 features a greater processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a better screen pixels density.
