Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a general score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+'s 79.3 global score. Even though Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is much newer than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, it is a bit thicker and just a little heavier. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1 version, so it gives you some extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy S6 edge+ has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixels quantity per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also has a bigger diafragm aperture, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 2% greater battery capacity.
