Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, with a global score of 79.3 against 77.5. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older phone than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's just a little bit thinner and lighter anyway. Galaxy S6 edge+ has an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower). Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and more internal storage.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a bigger aperture, a much more mega pixels camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality photos.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple specs and features.
