Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than the Galaxy S6 edge+, with a general score of 81.2 against 79.3. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 design is notably newer than the Galaxy S6 edge+'s, but it's just a little bit thicker and heavier. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher number of cores and more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a better 2560 x 1440px resolution. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also has a larger sensor taking better quality photographs and videos, a bigger aperture and a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has much more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 192 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy S6 edge+, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S6 edge+. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S6 edge+, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
