Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a 79.3 score against 75.8. Although the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is much older than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's body is thinner and lighter. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better display pixels density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a very superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ takes better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a much more mega pixels camera, a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and video.
