Comparison review
Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 overall score. Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is incredibly older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's body is much lighter and thinner. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10 version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more cpu cores. The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel quantity in each inch of display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 67 percent bigger battery size.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low light images and videos, a much more mega pixels back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up some features and specifications.
