Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a general score of 83.8, which is much better than the Galaxy S7 Active's score of 75.8. Although Apple iPhone 7 Plus and the Galaxy S7 Active were only released 3 months apart, Apple iPhone 7 Plus's body is noticeably thinner but also a bit heavier than the Galaxy S7 Active.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a little sharper screen than iPhone 7 Plus, because although it has much less brightness and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a higher display pixel density. IPhone 7 Plus counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. IPhone 7 Plus captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller camera aperture, they both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same resolution camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a really longer battery performance than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 2900mAh.
Although iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
