Comparison review
Galaxy Note9 is much better than the Galaxy S7 Active, getting an 87.1 score against 75.8. Galaxy Note9 is a newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than the Galaxy S7 Active, although it is also just a little heavier. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active counts with a little bit better display than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a little bit worse 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density.
Galaxy Note9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a higher number of faster cores and more RAM. Galaxy Note9 features a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory.
Galaxy Note9 captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better images in low light environments and faster 60 frames per second video frame rate.
Galaxy S7 Active and Galaxy Note9 have quite similar battery performance.
Galaxy Note9 is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7 Active, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
