The Galaxy S6 edge+ has an overall score of 79.3, which is slightly better than Galaxy S7 Active's 75.8 global score. Even though the Galaxy S6 edge+ is older than the Galaxy S7 Active, it's construction is somewhat lighter and notably thinner. Galaxy S7 Active features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S7 Active also has 3 more cpu cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a little bit larger display. Galaxy S6 edge+ takes a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher resolution camera.
The Galaxy S7 Active features a bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has better battery duration than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7 Active. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy S7 Active, resigning a couple specs and features.
