Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 5s is a bit better than Galaxy S7 Active, having a 76.4 score against 75.8. Even though Xiaomi Mi 5s and the Galaxy S7 Active were released only a couple months apart, Xiaomi Mi 5s is notably lighter and thinner. The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a little faster processor than Galaxy S7 Active. They have a Quad-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount.
The Galaxy S7 Active counts with a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a little smaller screen and less brightness, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
Xiaomi Mi 5s features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing images in low-light situations, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same video quality and a back camera with a 12 MP. The Galaxy S7 Active features improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi 5s is a better device, it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi 5s, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, letting go a couple specs and features.
