Comparison review
Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a little bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge, having a score of 83.8 against 78.1. Although Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Galaxy S7 edge were only released with a few months difference, Apple iPhone 7 Plus's body is somewhat heavier but also just a bit thinner than Galaxy S7 edge. Apple iPhone 7 Plus counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processor.
The iPhone 7 Plus and Galaxy S7 edge have really similar displays, and although the iPhone 7 Plus has a way worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a bit worse pixels density, they both have a display with the same size. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has just a bit better camera than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same video resolution and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a bigger sensor which gives a better photo and video quality.
Apple iPhone 7 Plus features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Galaxy S7 edge has better battery duration than Apple iPhone 7 Plus, because it has a 3600mAh battery size against 2900mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 7 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Apple iPhone 7 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning a couple features and specifications.
