The Google Pixel XL is slightly better than Galaxy S7 edge, having a global score of 81.3 against 78.1. The Google Pixel XL construction is just a little bit heavier and thicker than Galaxy S7 edge. Google Pixel XL features a display that's very similar to Galaxy S7 edge's screen, both of them have exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, a greater amount of pixels per inch of display and a same size screen.
The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel XL. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 4 cores. The Google Pixel XL has more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit longer battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 3600mAh battery size. Google Pixel XL's camera is very similar to Galaxy S7 edge's camera, because although the Google Pixel XL has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting images or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, it also counts with a back facing camera with a better resolution and a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality photos.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
