The Motorola Moto Z4 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, with a general score of 79.8 against 78.1. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Motorola Moto Z4 has older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo. Motorola Moto Z4 is a notably newer and a bit thinner phone than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it is a bit heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. Motorola Moto Z4 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a higher number of cores.

Moto Z4 has a better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a F1.7 camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto Z4 also has a way better 48 MP resolution camera in the back and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality photographs and videos.

Moto Z4 has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and more internal storage. Moto Z4 features a battery performance that's very similar to the battery life in Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.

Although Motorola Moto Z4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Motorola Moto Z4, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, resigning a couple features and specs.
