Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S7 edge's overall score of 78.1. The Galaxy A8 Star is a heavier phone than the Galaxy S7 edge, but both are 0.3inches thick. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features just a bit better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater pixels density. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 400 GB.
