Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's global score of 78.1. The Galaxy S6 edge+ body is just a little bit thinner and a bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, even though they were only released 7 months apart. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 edge+ has older 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a little bit larger display. The Galaxy S7 edge features a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S7 edge also has more cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality and a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing images in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher resolution camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 200 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features greater battery performance than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7 edge. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Galaxy S7 edge, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
