Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, getting a overall score of 81.8 against 78.1. Galaxy S6 Edge's design is just a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, although it was released around 11 months before. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a better looking display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little better display pixel density. Galaxy S6 Edge has a superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU, a 64 bits CPU and a larger number of cores.
Galaxy S7 edge captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a way worse 12 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a lower (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge counts with a much better memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 200 GB. Galaxy S7 edge has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3600mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a bit more expensive than the Galaxy S7 edge, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
