The Xperia XZ2 has an overall score of 79.1, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 score. The Xperia XZ2 design is way newer than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's, although it's thicker and extremely heavier. Xperia XZ2 has just a bit better display than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little inferior pixels number in each inch in the screen and a lot lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, it also counts with a quite larger display.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a very superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xperia XZ2 also has a larger number of cores.
Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera, higher video frame rates and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
