Comparison review

The iPhone 8 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S7, getting a global score of 85 against 79.5. The iPhone 8 construction is newer, just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter than Samsung Galaxy S7. The Apple iPhone 8 features a greater hardware performance than Galaxy S7, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU and a greater number of cores (and they are faster).

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a better looking screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a much higher pixels amount per display inch, a much better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a brighter display and a quite larger screen. The Apple iPhone 8 features a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a superior battery duration than iPhone 8, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh. The iPhone 8 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photography and a smaller back camera sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have a same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the iPhone 8 also counts with higher video frame rates.

Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S7. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy Galaxy S7, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
