Google Pixel 2 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7, getting an 81.6 score against 79.5. Google Pixel 2 is a just a little lighter phone than the Samsung Galaxy S7, but they have the same thickness. Google Pixel 2 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Google Pixel 2 also has more CPU cores.
Samsung Galaxy S7 features a more vivid display than Google Pixel 2, because it has a higher pixels density, a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a quite larger screen. Google Pixel 2 has a camera that's very similar to the camera in Galaxy S7, because although the Google Pixel 2 has a smaller diafragm aperture and a tinier camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a higher 12.2 mega pixels resolution camera.
Google Pixel 2 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Galaxy S7 counts with a bit better battery performance than Google Pixel 2, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
Google Pixel 2 costs a little more than the Samsung Galaxy S7, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
