Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31s has a score of 88, which is much better than Galaxy S7's overall score of 79.5. The Samsung Galaxy M31s construction is notably newer, but incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy S7. Galaxy M31s features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and 2 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a sharper display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen density and a better 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Galaxy M31s captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
The Galaxy M31s has much more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S7, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M31s counts with a much better battery duration than Galaxy S7, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
