The LG V50 ThinQ has a global score of 83.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S8 Active's general score of 81.9. The LG V50 ThinQ design is newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than Galaxy S8 Active. Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more vivid screen than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better amount of pixels per display inch.
The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V50 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory. LG V50 ThinQ features much more memory for apps and games than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
LG V50 ThinQ has a bit better camera than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which provides a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same resolution camera, the LG V50 ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations and better video frame rate.
The Galaxy S8 Active and the LG V50 ThinQ count with quite similar battery performance.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the LG V50 ThinQ is also the cheapest one.
