Comparison review
Galaxy M30s is slightly better than the Galaxy S8 Active, getting a general score of 83.3 against 81.9. Galaxy M30s is a a lot newer phone, and it is also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than Galaxy S8 Active. Galaxy S8 Active counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy M30s, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better number of pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
The Galaxy M30s has a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M30s also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. Galaxy M30s counts with a CPU that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy S8 Active's CPU, both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM amount.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. Galaxy M30s captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M30s also counts with a camera with a lot higher resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
