IPhone XS Max has a global score of 84.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S8's global score of 81.7. Even though the iPhone XS Max is noticeably heavier than Galaxy S8, it's just a bit thinner and also newer. The Galaxy S8 and the Apple iPhone XS Max have similar screens, because although the Apple iPhone XS Max has a bit worse 1242 x 2688 pixels resolution and a just a bit worse pixels density, it also counts with a little bigger screen.
Apple iPhone XS Max has a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has lesser CPU cores , and they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with a 64-bit processor. The iPhone XS Max captures a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same sensor size, the same resolution camera and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the iPhone XS Max also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates.
Galaxy S8 has a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy S8 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
