Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 6P, with a general score of 81.7 against 80.3. Galaxy S8 is a newer and lighter cellphone than the Google Nexus 6P, although it's just a little thicker. The Galaxy S8 features a bit better processor than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S8 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has a slightly better screen than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a slightly better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution, a quite higher pixels density and a bit larger display. The Galaxy S8 features a little bit more memory for applications and games than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

Google Nexus 6P features a little longer battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. Google Nexus 6P shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking pictures in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a bigger sensor providing a better image quality and a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels.
