Comparison review

Galaxy S8 is a bit better than LG V20, getting an 81.7 score against 77. Even though the Galaxy S8 and LG V20 were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy S8 construction is a bit thicker but also lighter than LG V20. The Galaxy S8 has a little sharper display than LG V20, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, a little bit larger screen and a quite higher pixel number in each inch in the display.

LG V20 features a very superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V20 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy S8 features just a bit better performance than LG V20, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy S8 also has 4 more processing cores.

The LG V20 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video and a tinier back-facing camera sensor which offers a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the LG V20 also counts with a camera in the back with a lot higher 16 mega-pixels resolution.

The LG V20 has a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S8, because it has a 7% greater battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V20. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy S8, but if you don't you can save some money and get the LG V20, giving up some features and specifications.
