Galaxy S8 is a little bit better than the LG V30, having an 81.7 score against 79.1. The Galaxy S8 design is a little bit lighter but a little bit thicker than LG V30, and both of them were released only 5 months apart. Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a little sharper screen than LG V30, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better display density and a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960.

The LG V30 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S8. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM. LG V30 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing worse quality photographs and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG V30 also counts with a much more mega-pixels back camera and a larger aperture for better low-light images and videos.

The LG V30 counts with much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG V30 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 3000mAh.

Galaxy S8 is not only the best phones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one, making it a no doubt choice.
