Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, getting an 81.7 score against 79.3. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a newer device than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, although it is a little heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S8, although it has a quite worse screen density, a bit smaller screen and a little worse resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Galaxy S8 features a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S8 also has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S8 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a larger number of cores (and faster).
The Galaxy S6 edge+ and Samsung Galaxy S8 count with extremely similar batteries duration. The Galaxy S6 edge+ takes just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs or video in poorly lited situations and a smaller camera sensor shooting lower quality images, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is not only the best devices of the ones we are comparing, but it's also a lot cheaper, which makes this phone a great choice.
