Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a bit better than the Xperia 5, with an 81.7 score against 81. Samsung Galaxy S8 is an noticeably older device than the Xperia 5, but Samsung could make it just a little thinner and just a bit lighter. Samsung Galaxy S8 has a slightly better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.

The Sony Xperia 5 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xperia 5 has a bit better processor than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xperia 5 both feature similar cameras, because although the Xperia 5 has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality pictures and videos, and they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better images in low light environments.

Xperia 5 features a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy S8 is also a bargain compared to the other phones, which makes it a no doubt choice.
