The Sony Xperia XZ1 has a lot bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The Xperia XZ1 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a much better 19 mega pixels resolution back camera.
