Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has a general score of 81.7, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's overall score of 76.4. Samsung Galaxy S8's design is a little bit heavier but a bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and they were only released with a few months difference. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a better display density, a lot better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a quite bigger display.
Galaxy S8 has just a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a greater number of cores.
Galaxy S8 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy S8 also counts with a larger aperture.
Xiaomi Mi 5s has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity.
