LG V50 ThinQ has an overall score of 83.7, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S9's 83.3 global score. The LG V50 ThinQ is a somewhat heavier cellphone than Galaxy S9, but they are equally thin. The LG V50 ThinQ has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG V50 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a bit better looking screen than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2960px resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels number in each inch in the screen. The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S9, because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity. The LG V50 ThinQ's camera is just as good as the camera in Galaxy S9, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has a smaller back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, they both have a camera with a 12 megapixels, the same video frame rates, the same aperture and the same (4K) video resolution.

Although LG V50 ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V50 ThinQ, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S9, letting go a couple features and specs.
