Samsung Galaxy M31 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S9, with a global score of 86.5 against 83.3. The Samsung Galaxy M31 is a newer phone than Galaxy S9, although it's heavier and just a little thicker. Samsung Galaxy S9 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M31, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy S9 has a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. The Galaxy M31 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S9, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy M31 shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and videos in low light situations and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a much bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos and a lot higher 64 MP resolution camera.
