Galaxy M31s is a little bit better than Galaxy S9, getting a global score of 88 against 83.3. The Galaxy M31s design is a lot newer, but thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S9 features just a bit better screen than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy S9 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M31s, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S9, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. The Galaxy M31s shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S9, because although it has slower video frame rates and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a lot larger camera sensor.
