Comparison review
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S9, with an 85.5 score against 83.3. Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is an a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker phone than the Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S9 counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a greater display pixel density.
Xiaomi Pocophone F1 features a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy S9, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has a bit better processing power than Galaxy S9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 also has more RAM.
The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 counts with superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has a camera that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S9 one, and although the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has a way tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, a same resolution camera, a same size sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Although Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Pocophone F1, else you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S9, letting go a couple specs and features.
