Samsung Captivate is slightly better than Galaxy Star 2, with a 57.2 score against 52.9. Samsung Captivate's construction is heavier but somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Star 2. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Captivate has older 2.3 version while Galaxy Star 2 has Android 4.4.
The Samsung Captivate has a much better looking display than Galaxy Star 2, because it has a much higher resolution of 800 x 480, a little bit larger display and a better pixel amount in each inch of display. Samsung Galaxy Star 2 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Captivate, and although they both have 512 MB of RAM and 1 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Star 2 also has a better 320 megahertz GPU.
The Samsung Captivate has a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Star 2, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 32 GB, the Samsung Captivate also has 16 GB internal memory. Samsung Captivate features just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Star 2, because it has 1500mAh of battery capacity.
Samsung Captivate shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Star 2, because it has a back facing camera with much more MP and a much higher (HD) video resolution.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Captivate is also by far the cheapest.
