Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 has a global score of 58.9, which is a bit better than the Alcatel Insight's 58.9 score. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also much older, a bit heavier and thicker. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 has the previous 4.1.2 version and Alcatel Insight has Android 9.0 Pie.
Alcatel Insight has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and more CPU cores. Galaxy Xcover 2 has a better screen than Alcatel Insight, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower 800 x 480 resolution, it also counts with a bit greater pixel number in each inch in the screen.
The Alcatel Insight has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Xcover 2, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Alcatel Insight also has 16 GB internal storage. The Alcatel Insight shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Xcover 2, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 MP, the Alcatel Insight also has a way better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Alcatel Insight has improved battery life than Galaxy Xcover 2, because it has 2200mAh of battery capacity instead of 1700mAh.
Although Galaxy Xcover 2 is a better device, it costs a little more than Alcatel Insight, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Alcatel Insight. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Alcatel Insight, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
