Google Pixel XL is a little bit better than the Galaxy XCover 5, getting a global score of 81.3 against 78.1. The Google Pixel XL construction is just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Galaxy XCover 5, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Google Pixel XL has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a way greater pixels density, a bit larger screen and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel XL, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a larger number of cores (although slower).
The Google Pixel XL features just a bit better battery life than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 15 percent more battery size. The Google Pixel XL counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a camera with a lot lower 12.3 megapixels resolution and a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution.
