Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Galaxy XCover 5's overall score of 78.1. The Galaxy Note Edge design is just a bit thinner than Galaxy XCover 5, although it is just a little heavier and was released 7 years before. These phones use Android operating system, but Galaxy Note Edge has the older 5.0 version and Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11.

Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a little bigger screen, a way higher pixels count per screen inch and a way higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Galaxy XCover 5 features much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for capturing pictures or videos in low-light environments, and they both have a camera with a 16 megapixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a much better video resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery duration in Samsung Galaxy XCover 5.
