Comparison review
Galaxy XCover 5 has a general score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 overall score. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover 5 has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The Galaxy XCover 5 body is much newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's, although it's somewhat heavier and thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a larger number of cores. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a greater count of pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a way worse 12 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images in low light situations, it also counts with a way better video resolution. The Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.
