Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than OnePlus 8, with a global score of 80.1 against 76. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is way thicker and notably heavier than OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.

The OnePlus 8 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a lot worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a larger display. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a bit longer battery duration than OnePlus 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 4300mAh. The OnePlus 8 has a very superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega pixels, a much better (4K) video quality and a lot larger sensor providing a way better image quality.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as OnePlus 8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy OnePlus 8, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
