The Galaxy M30s has a general score of 83.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro's general score of 80.1. Both phones in this review use Android operating system, but Galaxy M30s has an older 11 version and Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Galaxy M30s is a noticeably lighter and notably thinner phone than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although both were only released with a few months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little more vivid display than Galaxy M30s, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy M30s has as much storage for applications and games as the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro one, both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy M30s. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores. The Galaxy M30s features longer battery performance than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh. The Galaxy M30s features a much better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a camera with much more mega pixels and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
